The DR Telemetry 500mW data transmission module is a 915MHz or 433MHz telemetry system designed for APM 2.6, APM 2.8, and Pixhawk flight controllers. It allows long-range data communication between the flight controller and a ground control station, such as a PC or mobile device running software like Mission Planner, QGroundControl, or Tower App.

*2Km range is only possible when used in proper weather condition, very low air data rate and line of sight Ground-Air. With default settings and full transmit power on both ends the range is around 300-500 meters.
